Meet thirteen year old identical twins, Reagan and Payton Jackson, founders of Sign Kind. Maryland natives, these girls are frequent travelers and have made friends everywhere they've been. Together they share a passion for making others feel welcome especially when in unfamiliar environments with unfamiliar people. They've discovered that there are many missed opportunities to befriend others and found a way of communicating their gifts through the Sign Kind Organization.
When they're not out making new friends, they're working hard toward becoming future vet students. Collectively, they are presently studying American Government, Language Arts, Algebra 1, Geometry, Statistics, Calculus, General Science, U.S. and World History. Reagan and Payton also have a passion for public speaking and compete in Speech and Debate tournaments held nationwide. Since they each have a love for music, they can also be found playing their violins every Wednesday afternoon with their town youth orchestra.
In addition to that, these sisters volunteer as Teacher Assistants in an American Sign Language course for students in grades 8 through 12. Each Sunday, they look forward to serving together in the special needs ministry at their church and in their spare time they like to read mystery books, write poetry, and play with their adorable rescue dog, Ranger.
Help us normalize sign language for children everywhere.
