Let's Bridge the Conversational Gap!
Sign Kind is a sign language advocating organization founded by kids who strive to bridge conversational gaps between the hearing, deaf, hard of hearing, & nonverbal. Our SKO teen teams (hearing & deaf) are ready to introduce the many benefits of sign language in all communities!
The Sign Kind Organization (SKO), strives to bridge the gap between hearing and deaf communities by bringing awareness to young people of the importance of recognizing sign, respecting deaf culture, and realizing the need for this beautiful language. In 2019, then 9 year old identical twins, noticed that many hearing children and adults within their neighborhood weren’t familiar with ASL (American Sign Language) and their friend who is deaf was often bullied.
Our mission is to shine light within local communities that unknowingly keep the deaf/hard of hearing in the dark. Additionally, we encourage people of all ages to learn basic signs that can break seemingly awkward barriers. The Sign Kind Organization (SKO) provides personal insight, tips and techniques to best prepare the hearing with how to become more relational with the deaf/nonverbal/hard of hearing in a fast, fun, and friendly way.
Practice makes progress…we welcome all SKO members and our signing SKO friends to join Ray and Pay for our deaf friendly social events for kids!
Introductory class, 91% knew any signs, ages 5 through 12 featured. Our "kid friendly" sign language curriculum was created specifically for hearing children by Reagan and Payton.

We can relate...our teen SKO Pros take the school stage the 2024-2025 academic year.
Sign Kind is a non profit organization that was founded in 2022 by 12 year old hearing twin sisters, Reagan and Payton Jackson, after recognizing a need to educate the hearing population (especially children) about deaf culture. Their focus is to share the many benefits of learning ASL (American Sign Language).
At signkind.org, we believe that every student has the potential to succeed. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that empowers students (ages 5-12) to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
